Dedicated to the memory of Anthony Hugh (Tony) Cole

This page has been created to remember my father. Dad suffered terribly from the awful disease that is Idiopathic Pulminory Fibrosis (IPF) a disease which slowly and painfully kills over 7,000 people in the UK every year but which has no cure and receives no Government funding for research. For anyone who knew and loved dad you will know what a cruel and unpleasant decline comes with this illness over time. He was a man full of strength and fight but eventually his once strong body could not take anymore. He will be greatly missed by so many but I know he and us his family would take solace for dad's death in some small way contributing to fund research to this illness. We thank you all in advance for any contribution you may be able to make. The British Lung Foundation allows us his family to direct all donations specifically to IPF research. We hope in time (please do think of dad should you ever do any sponsored events) that we may reach a level sufficient to have a tree named in dad's memory at one of the Woodland Trust sites around the UK something as a man who truly loved nature he would be very proud of.

With our thanks

Sarah (his daughter)
